Time For Change

The United Kingdom Acquired Brain Injury Forum (UKABIF) and All Party Parliamentary Group for Acquired Brain Injury (ABI) Report.

You may recall from my GO presentation that I have been consulting with the Houses of Parliament/UK Government on behalf of people suffering from brain injuries? Following 12 months consultations we published the attached report yesterday in Westminster Palace.

In the presence of almost 80 MP’s yesterday at the launch meeting in the House of Commons, the following video was on ‘continuous loop’ replay.

This report includes 20 recommendations (some of which require legislation changes) to help support people with brain injuries and associated rehabilitation. While that is taking place, I will connect with my American Brain Injury Association (Washington contact) and share details of what we are doing in the UK as he registered his interest when we last spoke in March to potentially do something similar with the US Government.
